Monthly meetings are held at the Lake Township Hall on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM unless otherwise posted. In the event of a holiday, the meeting will be held on the following day, Friday, at 7:00 PM. Any changes or special meetings will be posted on the bulletin board at the back of the Township Hall. The meeting dates for 2024 are: January 4, 2024 February 1, 2024 March 7, 2024 April 4, 2024   May 2, 2024 June 6, 2024 July 5, 2024 August 1, 2024   September 5, 2024 October 3, 2024 November 7, 2024 December 5, 2024 Minutes (The documents below are PDF documents — see below for details.) 2024 March 7, 2024 — 4 pages, 128 kB February 1, 2024 — 2 pages, 104 kB January 4, 2024 — 2 pages, 108 kB Minutes for past years (2007 - 2023) Planning Commission Meetings Planning Commission meetings are held on the second Thursday of several months, typically February, April, June, September, and November, starting at 6:30 PM at the Lake Township Hall, 5153 Scenic Hwy (M-22), Honor, MI, 49640. These meetings are open to the public. (The April meeting is an organizational meeting.) Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed and will be published in the Record Patriot and posted at the Township Hall. The tentative next meeting dates for 2024 are: • January 11, 2024 • February 22, 2024 • April 25, 2024 • June 20, 2024 • August 22, 2024 • October 24, 2024 (Red — denotes a change from the date originally scheduled)   Minutes (The documents below are PDF documents — see below for details.) 2024 February 22, 2024 January 11, 2024 – 2 pages, 36 kB Minutes for past years (2020-2023) Board of Review Meetings Description The purpose of the Board of Review is to review taxes, hear concerns of the citizens, and correct any errors. The board also hears requests for exemptions. Meeting Schedule They meet three times a year, typically March, July, and December, as mandated by the state, at the Lake Township Hall. The dates are not the same every year. Notices for these meetings will be posted on the Home page under Upcoming Events. Budget Adoption Meetings The next annual budget adoption meeting will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 6:30 pm.
